I offered Mass for her this morning. It's the least I can do for such a great educator.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Dra. Bacungan, a selfless educator who molded our minds and spirits at Pisay.  Please know that Dra. Bacungan was instrumental in shaping this recalcitrant student, and I salute her for her dedication, her passion, and her caring for each of us.  We will remember her always, and hope we can live up to her expectations as science scholars.

    Dear Ma'am Bacungan,

Thank you for your decades of dedication. We are still reaping the fruits of your vision for Pisay. As you enjoy eternal rest in the sight of God, please continue watching over Pisay, and pray for us here so that we may also have long and well-lived lives.

To the Bacungan clan: condolences and prayers on behalf of all my batchmates that aren't on the alumni hub.

From the early years of Pisay until years on after her active retirement, DraBacs will always be in our adoring memory paths as our 1st Registrar & 1st Female PSHS Director, succeeding after our founding Director Dr. Velasquez. Though she may have at times an image as a strict disciplinarian, passionate hard-working educator and to most, an understanding & compassionate mentor. Still, we will always remember her fantastic recall for names & faces of the Pisay scholars, particularly witnessed by PisayDos accounts, even after decades from PSHS graduation.

She was always a fount of charisma, inspiration, faith and PSHS Foundation #1 ICON: we lovingly miss you, dear DraBacs. May your soul be blessed forever with peace and joy in Heaven in union with our Creator.

To all the bereaved members of the Bacungan clan, our hearfelt condolences and everlasting compassion we learned from our dear DraBacs, who passed away fittingly on Easter Sunday, Amen.

Dr Bacungan thank you for all that you have done for Pisay and my fellow alumni. I consider the 4 years I have stayed at Pisay to be one of the most life-changing moments in my life. My decision to go into the sciences and to go into research and teching in Genetics was shaped early on by my experiences in high school. You have been a mentor and a model teacher I am aspiring for. I have always wished for my kids to receive the same top notch training and teaching I had received. I am glad that I had a chance to see you in one of your trips to San Francisco and to personally thank you. You have made such a deep impression in all of the students you have touched. You will be missed.
